Some months ago my wife Sharron and I had the pleasure of meeting the Canallis and just fell in love with them and their family. They told about there dream and vision of creating this Italian experience for the guests at their B&B. Alessandro was born and raised in Rome so who would know more about Italian cooking and hospitality the he?
We were quite impressed by the details of their vision and boy did they do a great job.

This home captivates all of their dream and has all the feel of life in Italy. The setting at the end of the Key peninsula makes you feel that you have truly gotten away from it all. The rooms are wonderfully decorated with that european flair and they overlook the marinia accross the street. There is this wonderful sitting room and dining area that look out over the water. If you need to get away you couldn't pick a more tranquil setting and the food was just fantastic.

Alessandro understands freshness and true Italian cooking. Get ready for a dining experience that is what I would call a; TAKE YOUR TIME AND DRINK SOME WINE EXPERIENCE! Our host and hostess are people filled with love, life and personality!

We say don't miss the opportunity to experience this romantic get away.

My wife and I were the only guests the night we went. This was an anniversary getaway. The hosts were experts at hospitality and treated us like royalty - - welcoming and attentive. They are across from the Filucy Bay Marina on South Puget Sound.

Highlights were the Italian wines and hot gourmet appetizers; an enormous gourmet breakfast in the morning, and a friendly, family atmosphere. Food and wine all top-drawer Italian specialties. Owners: He's from Rome and she's originally from Washington but was in the hospitality business in Rome for several years. They also left us champagne and chocolates in the foyer next to our room. Five stars for the food and drinks!

The building is a restored pioneer homestead from a very early settlement on the South Sound. It was renovated especially to work as a B&B and everything looked brand new and first class. High end fixtures, nice furnishings, outdoor hot tub, high-tech security, and a Puget Sound theme. Two good-sized comfortable bedrooms upstairs, overlooking the marina and each with a nice bath. Big common area between the bedrooms for watching the harbor or hanging out.

Near Penrose Point Park, which has terrific trails and beaches on the Sound, Several miles from Key Center and 15 miles or more from any major shopping and restaurants in Gig Harbor. Great area for beach walking and kayaking, but be prepared for a drive getting out there.
