I had never visited that part of the state park area. The views were magical! We took our art supplies, writing supplies and camera up there and just enjoyed the afternoon. What a place!

Trails are like a rain forest. Very green and quite a canopy. Water is pristine and beautiful. Catch a salmon from the shore. Bridge is a classic.

Breathtaking beauty at every turn describes this wondrous part of God's creation. While the south part of the park & West & North Beach are terrific, you will find even better stuff & few people in the section north of the bridge, Bowman's Bay. Either side, you can't miss here.

Tourist stop at either end of the bridge and walk out to take in the spectacular view. Bolder visitors will hike down below the bridge for rare photo ops. But the very brave will enter the pass in kayaks for a true adventure. This is for skilled kayakers with years of training, not just paddling, but hard work with real coaches. If you've got the training and skills this place will be a fun place to play. If you don't you could die. Access is from the parks at either end of the bridge.
