I had not been to Cooper Point Public House for three or four years but recalled that they had very good onion rings that were lightly battered and had a real o lion taste. Not on my diet, but I had an itch to scratch so returned. As I recalled, the onion rings were great.
Unfortunately, the rest was medium at best, with the crab cakes under done and at least as much bread filler as crab.
The service was good, but the bartender was unable to make a Negroni. The alternative was just so-so. Prices average to on the high side.
The decor and seating is pleasant.
I may return for onion rings sometime, but will have a beer and stop there.
I did see other diners who seemed satisfied or better. So just my opinion of my experience.
