The cast of characters found wandering the parking lot at all hours suggested the dealing of various illicit substances. It was unclear how many of these folks were staying at the hotel. Suffice it to say I felt very unsafe here. The no smoking edict around the pool was not enforced, and flagrantly ignored. Police activity was prevalent all night and into the morning. The only aspect of this hotel that recommends it, is it's proximity to the Canadian border crossing, and the lack of other options. Not sure why it has been awarded so many stars. It's a mess.

I showed up late (10:30PM+) with no call ahead. There was a note for me on the door telling me how to get my key, with the option of calling the Mgr. I got the key no problem. The room was very clean and very quiet. Fridge, microwave, and morning coffee. Absolutely will stay again.

Convenient location - center of town & walking distance to restaurants & shops
Price was lower than any budget motel i have stayed at in this state
