As is typical for many B&Bs, the Blue Gull features six rooms in a turn-of-the-century (20th) home that are a bit cramped for modern living. But if you are an avid B&Ber, this Inn offers well kept rooms, a nice breakfast and warm hosts. There is a sitting room on the main level, and the dining room is where hostess Renee offers up a delicious breakfast at 9am sharp. A steep staircase leads to the rooms we stayed in upstairs, The Angel and The Country. The Angel was a corner room with -- you guessed it -- angels on every table and shelf, It was a little too precious for our taste. The Angel had an attached bath with a whirlpool tub. The Country had just a shower. Both rooms were small , but were clean. The queen beds were comfortable. The Inn is located in a nice neighborhood within walking distance to the downtown area. But the after dinner climb back up the hill might prove difficult for some. Inn keepers John and Renee were warm, but not over-bearing hosts.
