We stayed in the new tower, taking advantage of a February special. The room was super clean and the beds luxurious. The shower and toilet were in one room separating the vanity and sink with a sliding door. It was well lit, but sharing that space to apply make up and do hair and allow for hand washing made for a lot of negotiation for our family. I went to the Angeline spa which was great but all their appointments for massages and facials were booked for the two days of our stay. I ended up getting a mani pedi which took 2 hours and was well worth it. Ask for Stephanie. We also decided to get a late breakfast at the Beach Glass Cafe which was good right in the lobby. We skipped lunch and went to the fine dining restaurant with the same name as the resort. We lucked out that they have an early bird special, select dinners are $19. We happened to be there on Wednesday so their prime rib was $24. And they had their house cab for $16/bottle. It was a decent Cali cab. The food was excellent as was the service. That evening we went to live karaoke at the sports bar. The girls spent most of their time in the pool. The changing facilities in the pool area could be better, only one shower and changing area. The toilet stall was large but it's inconsiderate to use as a changing area. Plus, the door was propped open so privacy was not good. But, hot tub was outdoor and great view from there. All in all, a great getaway.
