Bite is on the 2nd floor of the Hotel Murano; the food is tasty, but you really feel the Bite when you reach for the check. There are less expensive options within a block or 2.

Tried to eat at Bite but it reeked of the hotel's extremely strong "signature fragrance," so strong that's all we would have tasted. It was late so we went back to our Murano hotel room and ordered from Bite's room service menu. The food was great and had GF options. But if you want to enjoy the flavors don't eat it in the restaurant.

We stayed at the hotel so this was a convenient choice for morning coffee and breakfast. The breakfast menu isn't large but the choices are ample as far as a nice choice from each category. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and filling. Coffee was smooth tasting and not too strong but flavorful. I had traditional bacon and eggs and it was a good value, fresh and the eggs were cooked just as I asked. If you are staying at the hotel, start out there and then walk around and explore. Good service, value and atmosphere.

My husband and I go to Tacoma regularly to see plays or other attractions. It is often difficult to find a spot for dinner that is good but Atypical and uncrowded. We happened upon Bite restaurant in the Hotel Murano last week and felt lucky to have been there. While the appearance is one of a typical hotel restaurant, the menu was excellent. Though the selection was limited, we enjoyed every "Bite" - ha! First we had the Charcuterie Board- flat bread, salami, cheese and other accoutrements. Excellent and filling. Rather than order a full meal after that, we ordered the spicy prawns and the scallops starters. Plenty of food and, yes, the prawns were indeed spicy! Nearby tables had the Kobe beef burger and a large salad. Looking good! We will be back!

We have been here multiple times and always enjoyed it. This time not so much... Came to the lobby bar again and had Kristy take care of us this time. We came in Monday evening around 5pm. Bar was not busy but the service was subpar. Kristy seemed more interested in the guests at the bar top and not the tables. We only ended up having 1 drink each since the service was very slow. Our flatbread was just okay, not as good as other items we have had in the past. Maybe we should stick to the bartender we know and like...
