We have family in Tacoma and decided to try renting a condo instead of staying in a hotel. It was great to have our own space and to be able to host others instead of only being hosted. Check-in and check-out went without a hitch. The rooms are spacious and the place was well stocked with coffee makings and shower supplies. Each room has its own thermostat, which was very useful for a winter visit. The owner checked in with us to see how we were doing. He was very accessible, but I admit to being someone who would rather put up with things than ask questions. Things we put up with: We never got any hot water out of the kitchen sink (we used the dishwasher instead); we also struggled with the blinds. On the first night we couldn't get the Netflix to work, on subsequent nights for some reason it worked fine, very nice system. The water pressure could have been better, that was probably not fixable. But it was definitely within tolerable limits.
Nice stay in a historic neighborhood. Nice balcony and condo. Enjoyed feeling a part of the community for a few days. Really enjoyed our stay-- highly recommend it!
