Great foodie experience coupled with an awesome suite - the morning after was spent on the suite's balcony with coffee and hot beignet's from the Barking Frog restaurant next door; heaven.

Room Tip: Best Room: Either of the two Herbfarm suites. Just Do It.

I took a group of 15 couples here for a conference recently. We booked this property because of the wonderful experience that we had at the Bardessono Resort in Napa Valley, a sister property, so the bar was set high. The Willows Lodge not only met our expectations, but exceeded them. This wonderful property is located adjacent to the Chateau Ste. Michelle and Columbia Wineries, as well as the Red Hook Ale Brewery. We were able to treat our group to a Sarah McLachlan concert at the Chateau's Amphitheater and the hotel was able to provide gourmet boxed dinners for us to carry to the concert that evening. Additionally, the unique dining experience of the adjacent HerbFarm restaurant only enhanced our weekday stay at the Willows Lodge.

The staff was very helpful in seeing to our needs and made the stay most enjoyable. The concierge, Jonathan, helped many in our group plan their free day and even arranged a 'miracle' last minute transfer to the airport for our group when the prearranged bus didn't show up for our return trip to the airport.

I can give an unabashed recommendation to the Willows Lodge and hope to return again, soon!

Room Tip: They are all great rooms!

My husband and I were married here last weekend and really loved the place. I recommend it for couples looking for a romantic night or two together, or even to elope!

We booked an "I Do For Two" package, designed for couples who want a small, romantic wedding. It enabled us to bring an officiant and have our wedding ceremony on the grounds, then stay a night in a lovely room with a rose petal drawn bath, complimentary champagne and leisurely breakfast in bed.

The package seems designed for couples who want to elope - Willows Lodge will even supply witnesses for your ceremony - but they didn't have a problem with us bringing my husband's parents and brother, and two friends of mine. We were able to pick out a spot on the grounds that we liked for our ceremony, with the only caveat being that we shouldn't interfere with any of the other weddings going on (there was at least one other, more formal, wedding but it didn't feel like wedding central or anything).

It was romantic and luxurious to enter our room later in the evening and find a hot, rose-petal bath ready for us and some champagne on ice. If anything the bath was too hot, but that's nothing a little cold water couldn't remedy. Breakfast in bed the next morning was fantastic. We ordered from the room service brunch menu and the food was delicious. In particular the fruit salad was full of flavour and the produce was clearly very carefully chosen. We had to sign for the room service charge but it was deducted from our final bill as breakfast was included in the rate. We were told this when we checked in, which was helpful to avoid any stress later!

The staff were really friendly and we felt well-looked-after. Our request to reception for some Advil and a couple of toothbrushes (we forgot to pack ours) was promptly serviced. Our room was clean and nicely fitted out.

We will definitely be back for a special occasion and recommend it highly.

Stayed here for 3 nights for a business conference. Resort building/grounds were beautiful. Parking was free.

Checked-in at around 1:30am... had to wait a bit for someone to get to the front desk but after 5 or 10 minutes was checked in quickly. They were very friendly.

Room was a nice surprise. Fireplace, hot tub, patio, very nice bathroom. Overall - excellent.

Would love to come back here with my girlfriend - excellent place for romance :)

My husband and I stayed at this lodge because it is on a great location to go around some wineries on foot. We wanted to do some wine tasting without DUI.
When we arrived there on time, the room was not ready and we had to wait for an hour or so, so we left our luggege there and went to one winery next door. We asked them to call us when the room is ready. This was one of the reason I did not rate them Excellent.
The room was really big and nice with all the things you want in a lodge. Fireplace, decent size TV for the big room, french press coffe and tea, very nice bathtub, etc.
After going around a couple of wineries the first night, we stayed in the room and had room service for dinner. It was from Barking Frog and having great dinner in the room was so relaxing.
It was already chilly in the morning, but walking around the garden was soooo beautiful.
One thing that I did not like much about the room was that, we stayed in the first floor and we could hear the sound from the second floor a lot. Hoped they could have put more sound proofing between floors.

My husband and I have traveled to Seattle number of times and always have stayed in the big city. This time around, I wanted to check out the Suburbs and settled on staying in Willows Lodge, located in about half hour NE of Seattle in the mini-Sonoma of Woodinville. The surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, filled with farmlands, vineyards and tall trees.
Chateau St Michelle is just across the road from the lodge and of course, there are many more wineries nearby. This is also a perfect location for those interested in biking and discovering little towns around.
Willows Lodge has a pretty landscaped grounds and two of the most famous restaurants, Herbfarm and Barking Frog are withing the hotel's grounds. We had dinner at Barking Frog and really enjoyed the service and food. We also had unbelievably delicious breakfasts (included in our rate) at the Barking Frog. Breakfast prices are very reasonable and are around $11-16. Hotel staff are professional and friendly. Rooms are good size with large bathrooms and soaking tubs. Parking is complimentary and pets are allowed.

Room Tip: Check out Orbitz or other sites for "pay by American Express" to get breakfasts included.
