My husband and I recently stayed at Country Road Cabins and had such a relaxing time. We stayed in the Laurel cabin and it was secluded and very peaceful. The cabin was very clean and was stocked with extra towels and everything you could need to cook a good meal. The patio was awesome, we had a grill to cook dinner on and a super private hot tub which just made the trip that much more relaxing. Everything inside the cabin was clean and cozy. I would say that the coffee was running low (i drink a lot of coffee), but overall our stay was great. There is plenty do in the immediate area (Fayetteville was a cool town) and there are a lot of options for recreation. We will be back in West Virginia soon as a quick getaway from all of the craziness in DC!

We visited Country Road Cabins recently on our honeymoon. We stayed in the Love Shack Yurt. These cabins are in a heavily wooded area that offers peace, tranquility and privacy. We were welcomed by a honeymoon gift of champagne and glasses, as well as two Country Road Cabins coffee mugs. This was a very nice gesture. The yurt was adorable and had everything we needed. We arrived to soft music playing on the television through XM radio. It was clean and we enjoyed the outdoor jacuzzi and the indoor heart shaped hot tub. The bed was comfortable, and we felt safe. The New River Gorge National Park is a short, easy drive. There are lots of great hiking paths there and the bridge is gorgeous. We also visited the local bar, just down the road on US 60, Dorsey's Hog Tails Bar ad Grill. We had fun playing pool and the locals were very friendly with us "Yankees."

We stayed at The Hideaway cabin for a week at the end of April - beginning of May. It was super clean (including the fridge and shower), they had music on when we walked in which was a nice touch. The cabins were stocked with everything we needed. The hot tub on the deck was so relaxing, and the covered front porch with swing/rocking chairs was also very relaxing. You could not hear the neighbours and it's located close to Summerville Lake and Fayetteville if you want great food, or fun activities.

Room Tip: The Hideaway cabin was a great choice for 4 people!

My husband and I stayed there this past weekend and loved it! The cabin (Mountaineer) was clean and very spacious, I was surprised that the kitchen was stocked with coffee, cooking oil, and various spices, although we went out to eat for most meals. The only complaint would be that a couple of the jets in the hot tub didn't work properly, but it was still OK. The setting was very quiet and close to shopping and restaurants. We are planning to return again!

We've had our maintenance folks take a look at that hot tub. All of the jets will be working perfectly for you when you come back to see us. Thanks for staying with us.

Very comfortable with everything you need for a cozy weekend getaway. They deliver firewood right to your door and the hot tub on the porch is a great way to wind down in the evening. It's very quiet here and the snowfall amplifies the moonlight. They do have free wifi but it's nice to just unplug and play cards or games with the family. Highly recommend this place.

Thanks so much for your review. Our winter season is particularly beautiful. I also highly recommend the Fall season here. The leaf colors are stunning. We hope you'll come back to see us soon.
