We went to The Clubhouse Grill at the Pines for what they advertise as 'brunch buffet' today and the only way to describe it is 'horrible'. The breakfast portion of the buffet consisted of (cold) scrambled eggs, a few slices of bacon, (very cold) undercooked eggo-type waffles, small (hard) biscuits and sausage gravy. The cut-up watermelon and cantaloupe looked and tasted like it was most likely several days old. The lunch portion wasn't any better. After a few bites of cold mashed potatoes, we decided that was enough. Certainly not what we expected from the Pines and definitely not worth the $16.95 per person price. It was a huge disappointment and we won't be back.

It's on a golf course for goodness sake.!!! How is this food suppose to be this delicious and the service this pleasant... Every meal on the table was cooked to order and didn't take very long to arrive to our table... No one complained about their meal, which tells me they were all delicious..

Good sandwich selection, and a very friendly staff. Great having a place to get some good food while enjoying a round of golf.

The new ownership of the restaurant at the Pines is doing an excellent job. Eat lunch here on a regular basis after I play golf, and often on Friday night, date night. Have yet to have a bad meal. Thank you Mike and staff, your the greatest!

I tried out this new restaurant on a hint. You don't need to be a member of The Pines Country Club to eat here. We scheduled a Graduation Day lunch and were delighted with the service, atmosphere, and quality of food. The menu is expansive and varied. There is something for everyone. I loved the seafood bisque and the burgers were generous. If you are in Morgantown on business, sporting events, visiting students, or an out of town Big 12 guest, I can highly recommend this. Worth a stop on your way through the area.
