It appears the Bob Evans of old, has a new look, somewhat like The Cracker Barrel. Now decorated with all kinds of sales items, and you need to find the place to go to be seated. Upon entering, we waited for about 3 minutes, while people walked by us. Finally a nice young man escorted us to a booth. The waitress was pleasant enough, but seemed rushed and busy even through the restaurant was not that busy. Our orders were taken, food brought. I had the house salad with a half Turkey Bacon melt, was good, but served on a full dish with half a sandwich. Couldn't they throw a few chips on....My husband had the Ham and Biscuit special with two sides, salad and potatoes. There was not as much food as we would had liked. Then I asked for a box for leftovers, one was brought, along with the check. What if I wanted dessert, I wasn't asked. Also I had to go to the counter to get another box for leftovers, not that there was much. Then at the checkout, there were two ladies talking about company business, work or a party, not sure but they were in casual conversation, while I wish the one running the register would had been more interested in asking about our meal and paying attention to us. A disappointing lunch. The manager needs to shake things up a bit and tell the staff, that the patrons are paying and they should get the somewhat royal treatment.
