We stopped in to this place close to our relatives house and it was quite underwhelming. The portions are huge but the food lacked flavor and no vibrancy in the dishes. Mexican food is fiery, bright and full of flavor and this was not it. I'm from Los Angeles so I grew up eating Mexican and this was pretty disappointing. On a positive note, the prices are really great and the portions are pretty generous so they have that going for them. I had the Chicken and Rice soup which was loaded with meat and very little rice with a watery and tasteless broth. No heat, no salt, even the pico de gallo that came with it didn't help much to improve it. After some habanero sauce and salt, it became more edible.
