We did a double take and actually had to exit the highway and double back in order to stop at this Tim's.
Great to see one so far south - we had said earlier that we wouldn't likely have Tim's again until we returned from our southern road trip.
And then this place...
Mostly typical Canadian Tim's menu... it's attached to a variety/liquor store plus a Little Caesars and a Subway.

Only complaint for tea drinkers is that their tea wasn't made with HOT HOT water... it was warmish... not the best tea. :(

Have wanted to try a Tim Horton's for a while; I know several Canadian expats and NE friends that pine for it here in the south. I'm of the opinion that all the hype is justified.

Excellent all the way around! The food was great, the tea and coffee were great, the donuts were great, the staff were great.

North Carolina needs some Tim, people. Make it so.

Wow. Damn good sandwiches and soup. Hot and tasty. And yes the coffee was strong and hot. The store was clean, and the staff were pleasant. I would love to see one of these in NC. I wonder if I can get a franchise??!

Our doughnuts were delicious and the young lady that waited on us was super sweet! Very patient while we decided and very friendly. Thank you, I wish I knew her name but a young, beautiful blonde. I had just woke from a nap and not completely awake lol, and she was patient with me while deciding and smiled and friendly the whole time!

The food was disappointing to say the least. We all ordered paninis. One grilled cheese panini (cheese was not melted at all) and three bacon, cheese, and ranch paninis (except they were out of ranch dressing). Two were supposed to have chipotle sauce in exchange but ended up with one small corner holding the tiny teaspoon of sauce while the rest of the sandwich was dry. Even the donuts were disappointing. Such a small amount of filling in the Boston Cream and Canadian Maple donuts that it came as a surprise during the very last bite that these were actually cream filled donuts! One of the two Sour Cream Glazed donuts was raw in the middle. Overall a true disappointment!
