This casino and resort had clean rooms, excellent exterior appearance of facility, friendly staff and the machines were even friendly. Steak night was a plus! We look forward to visiting again next year.

We stayed for two nights at the Mardi Gras the first night dog racing was on which was fun the only disappointment was they shut the area where you place your bets with no warning at all.
The second night we had the prime rib special it was superb and great value too.
The room was big the bed was big and very comfortable it was clean and we enjoyed the breakfast there was plenty of choice was surprised they didn't do pancakes or waffles.
We would definitely return staf were all very helpful too

The hotel is ok but a bit overpriced. The clerk at check in was very pleasant and friendly. The rooms are clean but could use a sprucing up. There is a breakfast in the morning that is great! they make egg dishes per request, fried, omelet, etc. that was probably the best thing about this hotel. We had someone staying above us that walked like a horse with all their legs broke. It kept me up a good portion of the night. The slots were horrible and took all the spending cash we came with. They really need to make it brighter so you don't think your getting fleeced in a dark alley.

Casino was clean, smoke free and slots were making the players club free $20.00 was fun.
French Quarter restaurant prime rib special for $20.00 was a true value. The green beans and salad were yuck. The lobster bisque and pre rib were awesome.
Hotel was a bit noisy for having no kids...
Breakfast was not great. Too much oil in the omelettes and bacon was burned. :-(
However, all in all....it deserves a 3

We had never been to the Mardi Gras Casino and Resort but saw advertisement
signs along State Route 35 and 64. We wanted to take a middle of the week
trip and decided to go to Mardi Gras Casino and Resort. We stayed at the resort
on Wed. the 27th of Sept and checked out on the 28th. The resort was one of the
cleanest we have ever stayed in and offered a free breakfast. The casino has slots
and tables and we enjoyed the fun of the slots. Our winning luck was up and down
but we had a great time. The staff at the resort was very pleasant and were very
helpful as was the staff at the casino. When you check into your room at the resort
and turn the TV on, it prints your name and WELCOMES you Mardi Gras.
The ONLY suggestion would be to offer waffles or pancakes during the
free breakfast. Great place and we intend to go back there soon.
Sincerely;
Mr. and Mrs. Herman L.Marcum

Room Tip: The Resort has a walk way right into Casino.
