Decided to come 2 nights over Spring Break. They offered many great kids activities and our kids had a blast. The pool was freezing which was disappointing or we would have spent much more time in there. Because it was so cold the kids were filling up the hot tub but kids under 6 were not allowed in the hot tub which just caused more problems. The arcade could be so much better - we lost so many tokens on broken machines. But the room was great as well as the other amenities on site.

We stayed here for a long weekend over spring break and had a great time! We were in one of the "Loft rooms," which was really nice and fun for a family. Wonderful bathrooms and great jetted tub. Our balcony had rocking chairs and a wonderful view of the lake. The food was good and the gift shop had nice high quality merchandise. On the premises, we rented bikes, mini-golfed, enjoyed ping pong and fuse ball in the kid zone and enjoyed the night time family activities including, "Family Feud." Drove in to Delavan and bought nice clothes at Bradley's, a historic dept. store that has been in business for 166 years! We met the charming owner and it added a homey touch to the trip. Also read about the circus roots of the town in the square on their century old brick street. So I would recommend stopping in to Bradley's and seeing the brick street

Room Tip: The loft room was great, I highly recommend it.

The place was pretty attractive and large resort the food at the resort was average I cannot complain but the indoor pool was frigid and I have no idea why they had the air conditioning on in the pool area?... although I complained about it nothing was really done, but kids don't seem to mind the cold water so I guess they feel they don't have to heat up the water more... the rooms were pretty nice clean I had a loft the beds were comfortable. The other drawback was be careful Where You are, meaning building Direction away from the indoor pool the walk is far, you have to go through the outside and when it's cold it's not fun at all also there is no elevator on certain parts of the building if you have handicap guest or members.
As a first-timer I was not aware of it but I might go back and get him a shot again knowing the drawbacks to this Resort

The facility has good bones but the service in restaurant and the response we received when we notified concierge that the water in shower is yellow was beyond disappointing. The indoor pool water was cold the first day we stood there and then it was Lake Michigan cold after. Having kids i was forced to swim in the ice water. Unfortunately, I will not be spending my precious family vacation time at a place that doesn’t appreciate their customers. And the staff didn’t seem to care if you return at all. Spoke to another guests and he received the same treatment. The one very bright spot of customerservice was the general store owner. She was super sweet and opened the store just after closing to allow us to get some Advil. Internet connection was solid.

A very nice and well kept resort. Friendly and helpful staff. Down sides are a very spread out layout, probably because of the Indian burial mounds on site. Another problem is the rooms are lacking in useable outlets for today's electronics.
