Largest park in the city. Good fishing, two playgrounds, nice museum with ice cream parlor, Football and Baseball fields, and train rides in the summer. Lots of wonderful spots for picnics as well. The park can be quite busy during the summer.

It is a huge park, with a lot of things to do. It has a playground for children with two big slides. a baseball field, tennis courts, you also can get on the lake waters with a canoe or kayak. In top of everything you can find here even a museum.

Carson Park is a historical park in the Chippewa Valley. Filled with age old trees, Half Moon Lake, Train Rides, Fabulous Playground, Huge Picnic Areas, Minor League Baseball Field, Hank Aaron Bust, Football and Softball Fields, Paul Bunyan Camp, Chippewa Valley Museum, Horse Shoe Area and much more.
It is often the site of many Community Races/Runs/Festival in the Pines, etc. There is always something big going on at Carson Park on the weekends.

There are MANY things to do in Carson Park... see a semi-pro baseball game, play tennis, badminton, basketball, canoe, kayak, take a nature hike, visit a railroad display, tour a historical museum, have a picnic, RELAX...

You name it, Carson Park has it... all in the heart of a major metropolitan area with 150,000 people...

My kids love Carson. Fishing, walking, nice play grounds. Always some animal running around to watch. The ball park and museums are there too so you can make an entire day out of it!
