We were seated promptly and great suggestions were made to us by our server. This bar/pub was fun and friendly. My wife ordered the Jamaican jerk pasta that had a delicious heat to it and I ordered the red beans and rice with andouille sausage. My dish had just the right level of heat and great flavor. The servings were generous, the prices were fair and the service good. A convenient downtown location and easy parking means we'll be back.

I did a ride-along with Nic on a sales call to La Crosse where we had lunch at Buzzard Billy’s. We started with the Oysters Chipotle as an appetizer. We had six fried oysters on tortilla chips topped with Chipotle sauce and pico de gallo. We gave a good rating to this appetizer. Nic ordered the Seafood Chicken Au Gratin that was a breaded chicken breast topped with a seafood au gratin sauce that contained crab-meat, shrimp, mushrooms, and green onions that was served over rice. He also ordered a cup of the Seafood Gumbo that had shrimp, craw-fish tails, rice, blended together with a very impressive roux. I ordered the Cajun Combo with a blackened catfish fillet, jambalaya, and seafood gumbo. We were pleased with our meals. We both thought the Seafood Gumbo was outstanding as was the blackened catfish. We will come back for the gumbo, and try some more of the blackened items.

Usually downtown restaurants have a premium price tag added to their food. BB did not. You get a lot of food for your $.
Service was excellent, even the hostess stopped by and asked how our food was.
Cajun trio-excellent.
We would definitely come again when we are in the area.

We had a party of nine and were seated quickly. We all agreed that the food was good and we were happy with our choices. The decor is typical of many casual service restaurants but it was still nice

Late lunch with the grandkids. Wonderful mozzarella stick appetizer. Great sampler plate for s.o., beer cheese soup and blackened chicken salad for me. Nice, garden greens not iceberg. Antique decor is interesting. Service was good.
