Had a great two night stay in the Roosevelt room. Marty and Pat were beyond excellent in terms of their service and attentiveness. The accommodations were excellent and the location along the river was gorgeous. One of the best bed and breakfast offerings we've stayed in.

Pat and Marty Reynolds have taken an historic building and turned it into something very special. The building itself is an amazing conversion, but that isn't the best part-- Pat and Marty are. These two go so far beyond what might be expected to insure their guests have a great stay. Other reviewers may have said it better, but this IS the place to stay in the area. (Hint: If you really want that young lady to smile, call her "Tricia" instead of "Pat.")

Mary and Pat Reynolds have poured money, love and history back into this restored library. It is simply exquisite and worthy of your visit even if you have to travel out of your way. Every room has been delicately decorated with professionalism and charm. the collection of bookd is impressive. Marty provides a wonderful breakfast. We enjoyed fluffy pancakes, sausage, fruit, juice and tea. Sitting in the commom area library room on the second floor with a glass of wine provides a wonderful and peaceful respite from the hectic pace of our lives. Do take the time and effort to visit. It may be the best place you have stayed in some time. Great memories. Thanks again to Marty and Pat for your efforts and management of a jewel.

Room Tip: River Room is delightful. All are wondrful

This was a dream come true for anyone who has loved his or her library. Staying at a renovated Carnegie library was a treat. I've never stayed in as clean a place as this was. The hosts were wonderful, the breakfasts were terrific. I can think of nothing I would want changed. We ate a delicious breakfast at a library table, beautifully set and were surrounded by books. What more could a reader want?

Room Tip: Try the river room - it has a wonderful balcony with a table & chairs which overlook The Flambeau River. All the rooms looked wonderful.

Truly THE place to stay in Ladysmith. Right there with the bigger chain hotels in town on price, but way ahead in charm, class, and cleanliness. The owners are very friendly and REALLY know the town. Rooms are wonderfully decorated and breakfast was superb. This B&B is not a place to pass by.

Room Tip: Each room has its own historic theme. I enjoyed the Civil War Room.
