Paintings of working men and women from 1500s to the present. Quarries, builders, money lenders, weavers, brewers, factory workers, an amazing variety of workers. Also bronze sculptures. A must see for our visitors.

Most folks from Milwaukee have never visited this fantastic museum with art focused on American industry. There are sculptures, paintings and artifacts. One of the best entertainment dollars in Milwaukee.

This is truly a hidden gem. The mosaic on the lobby floor sets the tone for a very worthwhile museum collection. Don't miss the stained glass in the office on the rooftop.

A great museum for the $5 admission. The rooftop sculpture garden is a great place to relax and enjoy the views. I went on a Tuesday afternoon and there was no one else in the museum other than the students from MSOE. I enjoyed the other floors of predominantly Dutch, German and French artists.

I stopped in the museum while I was touring the MSOE campus, I'm an alumni. I was fascinated by the concentration of art depicting the early industrial age of Milwaukee. I learned a number of things concerning the history of Milwaukee and the surrounding area that I was not aware of. The museum is free to alumni. It also has a unique sculpture garden on the roof which offers nice view of the city.
