El Farol serves Puerto Rican food in authentic Puerto Rican style. Arroz con gandules (rice with pigeon peas), mofongo (mashed plantains), pernil ( roasted pork ). It feels like going to a neighborhood restaurant in Puerto Rico. Portion sizes are very generous, so come hungry. Prices are economical. Service is friendly. The menu has 12-15 dishes with the typical sides - plantains, beans, etc. This is not a fancy place, but if you are looking for authentic Puerto Rican food, you will find it here. I will come back.
