I dare you to finish their Herring Plate by yourself! Two of us were hungry and shared the $15 plate, barely able to finish it. The herring was astounding, as were the accompaniments, including lots of bread and crackers.
Although we were stuffed, we managed to make room for a $5 lingonberry shake to share. We were given a full stainlessl-steel container the shake was made in, and two metal mugs to drink from, which kept the shake very cold. The shake was incredibly tasty! Lingonberies are a cross between a currant and cranberry, and combined with the Cedar Crest vanilla ice cream-- DELICIOUS!
The restaurant is very touristy; however, we would return for the Herring Plate and Lingonberry Shake in a heartbeat! Besides, who could resist the GOATS! There were three up on the roof, and they were quite photogenic and fun to watch! What a hoot!
