It was a very quiet night at the Cody Cowboy. The lof cabin rooms are duplexes. I was hoping for a neighbor to see how noise carried through logs, but it was a slow night there. The bed and pilows were comfortable and the shower hot. The only drawbacks were no computer desk to go with the free WiFi and lack of a safe. The free breakfast was a bit sparse with hardboiled eggs and some muffins. No toast!

Petra the manager was very helpful and full of advice on local attractions.

Spent the night in a great cabin with our rambuncous pet. Had a great place to walk the dog or tie him up when loading the SUV. The rooms are spotless, and nicely decorated. The shower was easy for my wife to use. She uses a walker. There was no step over. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They have a nice continental breakfeast in the morning. We have already told others it is worth the trip.

Room Tip: No bad rooms.

These cabins were full of cute cowboy decor, comfortable, convenient, and inexpensive! Daily breakfast and helpful staff were great. Perfect location to walk to must-sees: Old Trail Town, Cody Cattle Company (fantastic BBQ & Show), Cody Nite Rodeo, and the amazing miniature village at Tecumseh's Trading Post across the street. Our kids (12 and 10) loved every minute of our stay!
Buy your combo ticket at check-in for BBQ, Show, and Rodeo... fun and memorable! Don't miss any of it!

Cody is a classic cowboy town and a great place to stay when visiting Yellowstone National Park. The rooms here are a little bit on the small size, but that was fine with me. Cleanliness and service here are excellent. I also enjoyed talking with the owners, they seem like really great people.

We stayed here in May 2011 during a 2 week "wild west" road trip. Prior to the trip, I lined up places to stay along the way and came across the Cowboy Village. It looked like it would be an experience and very nice. After speaking to the staff there, I was even more convinced we would love it. We did. The cabin was great - everything about it, including the view from the porch.

It rained the 2 days we were there, but the place is so close to so many sights, that it didn't matter. There was an avalanche in Ylwstone so the road was closed, but we got lucky one day and they let us in for 2 hours. Outstanding. We had lunch in Pahrump and that was great as well - chili for me and soup for Jean.

The North American Sheep museum and the Buffalo Bill museum are musts as well. Plan plenty of time if you want to see all of the latter though. It is extensive and worth the trip.

Highly recommend the Cody Cowboy Village.

We picked Cowboy Village out of the blue last fall and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nice clean and well kept rooms with hospitality to "boot" :-)

Room Tip: We enjoyed having a room on the east side in order to sit on the deck and enjoy the mountain sunset...

The rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. The pool was great. It's a short drive to the rodeo (which is a must) and the Buffalo Bill Museum (also a must).
