Whistle Stop has tons of books plus a really nice coffee/espresso bar and good sandwiches (not your typical sandwich either) and goodies. Great, quiet place where you can get lunch and a new book.

I was there for the total solar eclipse, and it was my favorite stop for coffee, breakfast, and internet during my 3-day stay in Douglas. The people are friendly and welcoming. The coffee and food was good. If I were a local, I'd be there often. Give them a try, and have some fun visiting with the locals.

This is a small town bookstore with a cafe in the back. Thay make very good sandwiches for a light lunch. They also have free WiFi but it would be courteous to purchase something from them if youb plan to use that service. In addition to the cafe, their selection of books that are of local interest and history is extensive. A nice place to stop in, read, eat and catch up.

The Whistle Stop has a cozy atmosphere, delicious food, coffee, and tea. My travel companion and I were stranded by bad weather, and chose to take shelter at this coffee shop/book store for lunch and free wifi. The staff are extremely kind and helped us look up road conditions, as well as advising good places to stay in town. This place was truly a relief during a stressful time, and the paninis were delicious! A rare jewel to find in small town Wyoming.
