The Vagabond Motel offers very modest, roadside-style accommodations at a reasonable cost. The room was dated (well, VERY dated) but surprisingly clean. It had both a microwave and a refrigerator. The only toiletry offered was the smallest bar of soap imaginable (fortunately, I pack a small bar and shampoo). The towels were like the ones you had in PE class (that, weirdly, I kinda like if not too small). The manager is a bit fussy about stuff like checkout times, but was completely pleasant. It is a short walk to Jody's Diner, one of the best local cafes I have ever experienced.
So, would I stay there again? Sure.
