Nice hotel and very clean. The hotel is older but has been redone just about completely. Beds, showers and everywhere we went was very clean. Our room had a balcony, which was a complete surprise. The staff was very friendly! Good stay if you are passing through or even for extended stays.

This hotel is in the process of undergoing what appears to be a complete makeover. The public areas are now very nice and clean and have a comfortable feel to them. The rooms are also upgraded although we couldn't figure out why, with much of the hotel empty, they gave us a room with absolutely no view. I was also a bit disappointed to find they didn't have a restaurant or bar as that is currently under construction (one of the few reasons I stay in a full-service HI). I felt this was something that should have been communicated when I reserved the room. However, on the plus side, they created a breakfast restaurant in one of the banquet rooms that was staffed by a delightful young woman that made sure everyone was happy and everything was excellent.

We are happy to report that our entirely newly renovated restaurant, Old Chicago, will open in a few weeks! I am glad to hear that you did find the temporary breakfast in our meeting room pleasant. Thanks for being a loyal Holiday Inn guest; I do apologize if we failed to communicate it properly to you that our restaurant was being remodeled, but know our guests are going to love this new place! Please try us again!

Its a Holiday Inn. You know what you are going to get. In this case we had just come from another Holiday Inn. Found this one more friendly and more helpful. Restaurant was closed for refurbishment so went out for both dinner and breakfast. Hotel breakfast was a token price but was also, in my opinion, a token breakfast, which the hotel recognize and apologize for. But several good diners opposite.

just one slight concern was whether the sheets were clean or not, was not sure sure to excessive creasing. Or was this just a poor pressing?

Thanks for letting us know you found our staff to be more friendly and helpful than most places. We are very proud of our staff courtesy, service levels and friendliness. In addition, we are noted for the cleanliness of our hotel as well, so I apologize if your sheets seemed creased. We are excited to report that our brand new restaurant, Old Chicago, will open in a few weeks, so I hope you can come again and try it out!

It's a good sign when you see a lot of work trucks and vehicles parked at a hotel. It means they want to sleep, so you can be fairly certain your stay will be quiet. And it was. Long days of driving and hiking, and I just wanted to sleep. Got a room along what they call their executive wing. Very quiet. No road noise. No people carrying on. Easy in and out access. There is a laundromat next door, but they close at 2100. This place is a rarity in that they had 3 washers and dryers in the hotel. Most only have 1, which I've never understood. And at 1.00 a load, it's the cheapest I've seen anywhere. So I was able to do laundry fairly easily.

Lots of food and drink options all around. Stores nearby if you need supplies. The front desk people were very friendly and easy to deal with. They charge for their breakfast, so I skipped on that. Most places do it for free and they're all charging about the same rates for their rooms. Business is business. They can do what they want. All around, I had a good nights' sleep here and was happy just to have a quiet room and hot water. Which seems to be getting rarer.

A newly renovated Holiday Inn, clean and friendly staff. Comfy bed and a small balcony. The down side was that breakfast was not gratis; you had to pay for it and as luck would have it, we could not even get that as the room was booked for a large group meeting so no breakfast was served at all for the hotel guests. Luckily, there were plenty of dining options nearby.

Room tip: We were on the 3rd floor and even with the highway outside, it was quiet.

We appreciate you letting us know that you found our staff friendly and the hotel clean and comfortable. We apologize about the temporary breakfast room being unavailable during your stay, but the new restaurant, Old Chicago, will open in late October and we know it is going to be great! Our sister property, the Express, has the breakfast included in the rate, but we are a full service Holiday Inn and have instead (when the restaurant opens), a bar and restaurant on site. Once the restaurant opens, we will again offer a rate that would included a breakfast option. Thanks for staying with us!
