Despite its reputation for challenging skiing, Jackson also has much more intermediate and beginners terrain than many of the other major areas in the US West. Of course, it does have a wide selection of truly challenging areas.
And do not miss the chance to head into Yellowstone and Old Faithful on snowmobiles for a day - or longer.

What I love about this mountain is that it is huge, yet all trails lead to one village, so you get the feeling that it's a smaller, more quaint place! Mangy Moose makes the best Apres Ski bar. Ice bar outside and the Village Cafe are all great, too!!
The gondola and tram lead to great lifts where I was able to ski blues while my expert friend skiied the blacks. With a little coaching, I made it down the blacks, too, because the snow was amazing! It was never too busy, and everything just seemed so smooth and easy!

We ate at the Bunnery which is casual and Trio where we enjoyed Valentine's dinner. Both were wonderful. Spent time cross country skiing and snowshoeing in Teton National Park. On Thursday evening went to Art Walk where different galleries are open late and serve wine and appetizers. There was so much to do in such a beautiful, peaceful environment.

marmot lift completes the transformation of amphitheatre. Popular with many. We went back to Apres Vous mountain for less traffic (deserted would be European definition). Mountain weather means that there are always blue sky/sunshine gaps . Pisting is reliable and there is a new lady tree.....
