Stopped here on our way to the airport .. and the only regrets we had were that we didn’t eat here more often while we were in Kauai (to the recent reviewer....we also looked for them on October 28, but they were committed to selling their food at a Fall Festival that evening..so they weren’t open for regular business that day)!
The burritos we had were so delicious...fresh and filled to bursting with tender meat & quality ingredients! My husband and I have had our fair share of burritos in our lives...lol...and we both agreed these were among the best ever.
Very generous portions..at reasonable prices! They are such kindhearted people and truly care about making you happy with your food. Safe to say...they succeeded with us!!

We drove all up and down Kilauea rd, never did find it. Hecked map again and even walked around the open field where it supposedly was located, but.no luck cell reception wasn’t good enough to call.

Note location: there is construction work at the original site so you will need to drive up a little further - there is a large green open space where they are currently situated.

They have a few umbrellas and chairs where you can sit and enjoy your meal which was really nice.

Although TripAdvisor says 11-4pm the sign here actually says 7-2pm. My advice is to get there early - they source locally and daily, which is great, but that means there are limited amounts.

We couldn't get the fish tacos (see above) so got the shrimp instead.

I had the shrimp taco which was really good. One comes as standard - I would get two ($7).

My boyfriend got the shrimp quesadilla- a little too much cheese for us but again the shrimp on it was really good.

Overall I think this is a great place but I would recommend the shrimp (or fish) tacos.

When we first saw Julio's we just drove by thinking it was odd for a food truck to be in kind of a random spot, but when we passed by again in need of something quick we pulled over. Were we glad we did. The food was excellent not a single bite of anything remained when we were done, even the finnicky kids ate it all up. Not to mention the owner's were really great people too. If you get the chance try them out. You won't regret it.

Fish plate with actually fresh caught fish and a pulled pork burrito pre marinated and slow cooked. The owner is proud of what he serves, and he should be.
