The cost for this event was $157 per person. The menu is limited to two appetizers, both had shellfish, two salads, one with nuts, two entrees one a blackened Ahi the other entree was 3 spare ribs, and a choice of two desserts. My visitor has shellfish and nut allergies. They said they had no other appetizers they could offer her. I found it hard to believe that on their menu there were no appetizers without shellfish. The waitress told her she could not get an appetizer but they would give her two salads. She only had a choice of one salad since the other had nuts. The only advantage to this ridiculously priced venue was you were seated in the front row for the show. The show was 1 hour long. The room has no view, no ocean just in a big hall with 700 other people. Don't expect a 'luau' just dinner and a show for $314 per couple..

The food and service at Gaylord’s was outstanding and the show was great as well. Little spendy but we had a great time. Would recommend.

We very much enjoyed this evening. They were well organized with a large crowd and there were various activities to do before the meal and show. Most tables had great views. The performers were engaging and talented. We would recommend this for all ages.

We changed it up a bit this trip and went to the Luau Kalamaku rather than Smith’s and while I think the entertainment is more authentic and fire dancers were better - the food and location were lacking. The property is not built out like Smith’s and they have a bunch of vendors like a farmer’s market or art festival instead of animals and natural beauty. While we did buy quite a bit and liked the option, it shouldn’t be the only one. They have tons of land and should build it out with gardens, ponds etc. The food was OK and not a fan of the big tent you sit in the whole time.

Very family friendly venue. Great buffet, especially the pork! Drinks were plentiful and the show was beautiful. Can't go wrong when you're flinging around fire on a stick! Not entirely sure paying for premium seating was worth the extra cost though. We were farther away but elevated above the others. The table wasn't crowded together like down below.
