“Windy but good snorkeling”
Reviewed 31 December 2011

This beach has a fantastic view, both grass and sand areas, and washrooms and table areas. The sand was nice but the real value was the snorkeling, with coral pretty much right up to the sand. For that I wouldn't recommend this as a swimming beach, but definitely bring your snorkel gear!

“Wonderful beach”
Reviewed 17 December 2011

Kahekili Beach (North Ka'anapali beach) is a wonderful beach in Maui. Highly recommend it. Wide beach with great sand. There is a public parking lot, turn left on Kai Ala Drive to access it.

“Loved this beach!”
Reviewed 22 November 2011

This beach was a dream. We sat here all day--and went snorkling a total of 3 hours of that time. The snorkling was so convenient, clear, and fun. Lots of fish. Nice sand. Great sun. It's what Maui is all about.

“shhh! don't tell everyone about this beach!”
Reviewed 16 November 2011

North Kaanapali beach is hard to get to if you aren't staying at one of the resorts. Luckily there is this beach with its own truly free parking lot, no valet parking asking for $18, or being a parking lot shark at the 'free' parking at a resort. Just a short walk through a grassy field between two high rise resorts and you're on the beach with shade! Great snorkeling.

“Overall my favorite beach!”
Reviewed 6 November 2011

This beach has so many things going for it:

*Great Snorkeling
*Free Parking
*Covered Grill Areas
*Gorgeous views of Lanai and Molokai

If you are looking for a beach where some of the family can snorkel, some can stand up paddle, some can boogie board and some can sit with a book on the sand, this is it!
