I arrived in the afternoon of the 18 March and stayed for week. The check in process was efficient, polite and friendly . I was given an Ocean view room on the 9th floor that over looked the beach.
The hotel is set in magnificent grounds and very close to the beach. The two pools are divided by an out door bar, where you can sit and watch the world go around.
The service at the main bar is great and the bartenders are very engaging.
The food was fantastic , couldn’t fault it.
I played tennis at the Tennis Ranch a few times. I played with the Tennis Director , Kathy, who had just returned from the Indian Wells Tournament in California. She was very interesting to talk to and play against.
There is plenty of places to park your car and often a hotel employee on a golf cart would ask me if I needed a lift back to the hotel, which I gladly accepted.
The sunsets viewed from the front of the hotel are spectacular, the best I’ve seen in the world. The grounds are immaculate, with a true Hawaii feel, plenty of Palm Trees.
I can’t fault the service, the ambience and the sense of Aloha at the resort.
I am already planning my return holiday at the Royal Lahaina for next March, there is no better place to stay.More
