If you are looking for typical garlic shrimp this is not the one. Its different. their "original" garlic shrimp. (not really tasted garlic) shrimps are bigger then other places and very fresh and juicy.
also shrimps are already peeled so you dont have to mess with your fingers.

Heard about this area where the food trucks were assembled. We decided to stop for a quick bite. Had some Short Ribs, they were delicious. The Shrimps were awesome except they had to be totally peeled before eating. Now, unless there is some kind of trick to peeling this things without getting covered in the hot sauce.....maybe we can find out for next time. Tedious to peel but VERY tasty. Nice Food, Reasonable prices....

Excellent lunch, with more than enough food. Spicy shrimp has some kick. Comes with rice, pineapple, corn, salad. Highly recommend for an inexpensive quick lunch stop.

With food trucks you never know what you will get, but we were not disappointed with this Shrimp Truck at Pupukea Beach. We tried the garlic shrimp and the lemon shrimp and they were both dynamite. 8 big prawns per order. Nice salad too and the shave ice was good.

After spending the morning at Waimea Bay Beach, we went in search of the famous North shore shrimp trucks. Not having done much research except hearing the name Giovannis, we headed back down into Haleiwa. At one point, we saw two shrimp trucks on one side of the road, and Camaron on the other. Cameron was packed, the other two were empty, so we opted for Camaron. It was the first time trying shrimp from trucks, so I can't say we were experts, but it was delicious. $13 for 6 jumbo shrimps sautéed in a creamy garlic sauce, on a bed of rice, some salad, corn and a pineapple slice. Or you can go for the $15 combo, where instead you get 3 sautéed shrimp, and 3 coconut crusted fried shrimp. They may not have been the greatest shrimp I ever tasted, but they definitely were the best shrimp I ever ate from a truck in the middle of the road. The place was packed with Japanese tourists, so we concluded that the truck must have been recommended in a guidebook or something, because the other 2 shrimp trucks on the other side of the road were empty. That would be my tip for those wanting to start a shrimp truck business: get your name in a guidebook, and your business will flourish. Of course, you also better be able to make some good tasting shrimp. I would highly recommend Camaron Shrimp if you are looking for some darn good shrimp from a truck.
