We stumbled on this gem. Beautiful decor creates a feeling of being in Morocco and the ceremony attached to hand washing, tea and service is delightful. Best of all - the food. Incredible flavors to tease your taste buds.Fixed price menu includes great soup, a great plate of appetizers, desert, tea and at least a dozen options for the main course. I had the special, rack of lamb, since it's one of my favorites...and this rack was cooked to perfection and served with an amazing sauce. We didn't, but you have a BYOB option.

Deciding on a change from the typical local cuisine, we took a chance and decided Moroccan for a change...expecting standard fare. We walk into Casablanca and enter a Moroccan restaurant with proper decor, seating and service. We kicked back and enjoyed several hours of 5 wonderful courses with attentive service. Being a BYOB establishment, we opted for wine which was perfect for the meal. Take a journey and dine a Casablanca.

This was my first time here and I really liked it. Service was outstanding and the waiter knew his dishes. He took the time to explain to us but in the end I ordered the lamb and my girlfriend had the calamari strips in red sauce. My lamb was very interesting as one piece was very tender and the other one was hard. As for the calamari, that wasn't enjoyable at all. Everything else they served us was beautiful and very tasty indeed.

We went to another Moroccan style restaurant in town and that was a dive. This was much better but still lacking in flavor and consistency for their main dishes.

Tucked away in a quaint corner at the edge of Kailua, this restaurant packs a wallop. The prix fixe dinner runs about $40 but it is well worth every dollar. The air staff washes your hands in rose water then serves you heaping bowls of Harris soup and a large platter of preparared vergetables (hummus, tabouleh, pickled Tomita ones, etc.) plus a basket of fresh breads. Pace yourself because these treats are just the start. There is a phyllo sweet stuffed dish in between but next comes one of 20 or so entrees (mostly lamb and chicken). Then on to dessert and mint tea. The experience is a delight.

We were looking for a fun dining experience for the evening and were very excited to see a Moroccan restaurant right there in Kailua (not having to drive to Honolulu is a plus!). Friendly staff seated us at a low round table in a corner so 4 of us would be able to sit on the couch seating if desired but the floor cushions were fun too. It's the first time I've ever eaten an entire meal with my fingers. lol. The whole experience is fun though. The hand washings, each course brought out and presented, shared meal, relaxed and timed perfectly. Plenty of time for conversation with some great BYOB wine. The food was delicious, service very good, atmosphere relaxing, good A/C. We had a late reservation because they were booked until 7:45 but that turned out great. The dinner rush cleared out and we had a lovely time.Good variety of entree's to choose from. Way more food than the 4 of us could finish.
