The Cottages are small and quite simple (no really kitchenette as advertised, only microwave) but very cosy and romantic - you sleep nearly on the ocean (if you get a cabin in the first row) or nearby the water. You can watch the tide come and go on your patio - including a beautiful sunset/ sundown. And all for a very reasonable price ($55 and up). We had to stop by the restaurant to get some things (silverware etc.). But the staff was very friendly. If you are hungry you can eat really good fish or lobster in the nearby "Chartroom Restaurant" (same owner). We loved the view most. And of course the location - nearby the entrance of the Acadia National Park and only a stone's throw away from beautiful Bar Harbour centre.
