This is another thing to see on the San Francisco tourist routes. Some great sea food restaurants. The pier is very near pier 39.

Lots of genuinely great seafood restuarants and very dodgy seals. Has to be done but only once..too many people for my style.
Everyone should go just once. Lots to do for the entire family. Loads of shops and restaurants. The teens really liked it here. Also many of the water tours leave from here. Fun place to spend the afternoon.
We came here twice during our stay!
Good for shopping - wide array of souvenirs in good prices
Excellent for Food - I rated excellent as there are food options for all range of budgets - you can opt for the dine-in restaurant type or for a cheaper option, you may just buy your food from the stalls and sit somewhere near the pier :) You have to try their clam chowder!
However, I would not book a hotel around this area as it is too crowded for me.
An amazing place, absolutely 'buzzing'
Lots to do and see, great shops, restaurants etc. Took the ferry over to Sausalito from here
