China town is beautiful area full of culture and great food. No parking is free so down load the app and pay for parking that way. If you are looking for souvenirs this is the place to go. You can get more for your money here. So many shops and places to eat. This a must see place when you go to SF.

We visit China Town on every vacation, if they have one. It compares to Hawaii. Very interesting to see. Many shops and restaurants down several streets. We recommend eating at the Capital restaurant. There was a shop there that handmade fortune cookies. That was cool to see.

We visited Chinatown on our last trip to SF. Very colorfull. We ate at the Hong Kong Clay Pot restaurant (by the way a excellent deal) and had a great time visiting stores and boutiques. Be prepared to walk with a good pair of shoes.

We went to chinatown, it was different from NYC and LA chinatown. It was really big, lots of stores and restaurants, it was a pleasant walk and for a moment you fee out of USA.

Lots of exhibits, unique products, and food that makes you feel like you are in Asia more than the US. It was enjoyable to watch people interact and display a part of Asian culture. Streets were lined in tents and several thousand people. Fantastic experience.
