We were charmed by the location of the Bernalview B&B. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, but has easy access to bus and BART. It is within walking distance of the Mission District, Precita Park, and a couple charming markets and coffee shops. Alan is a gracious host—offering excellent directions on getting around, answering questions, yet not overpowering you with attention. The room is small, but totally adequate for our needs, and the view of the city is marvelous. Breakfast is a serve-yourself-affair, and offers a choice of eating in a well-decorated dining room or sitting in a pleasant back-yard garden. We hope Alan will have an opening for us to stay on our next trip to San Francisco.
