Have been to SF many times, but first time visiting the park. The park is a huge green space with a very nice kids play area. What I didn't expect were the fantastic view of the city from the park. Good eateries nearby as well.

This spot is great if you're looking for a playground (there are tennis and basketball courts) or somewhere for a picnic or just for hanging out. Otherwise, it's basically just good for people-watching. The only thing special about the park is the people; so it's good if you're in the mood for people-watching or one for striking up conversations with others. We did see some people playing with a whip who let us try cracking it in the air, so you definitely find some interesting people there. There are public rest rooms at the end of the park and a train stop nearby.

This is a beautiful park to bring a picnic and spend an afternoon! The park is beautiful, the views are awesome and the people watching is great.

Walk you dog, work on your laptop, study with friends, or just hang out. A really nice corner of this user friendly city.

My son had a ball on the playground here. We were in the area looking for the golden fire hydrant, and he saw that there was a large play area in the park. I let him play for about an hour. It was very very crowded but people were friendly and the bathrooms were surprisingly clean.
