Dear Alice S
Location, Location and we are glad you enjoyed your stay and location right in the middle of the Wharf. Our Retail space just recently has open a Restaurant/Bar that is accessible from our Yard and will also provide outdoor seating for our Guest's convenience.
We will be here when you ready to come back!
Nice hotel near Fisherman’s Wharf. The bathroom is a bit on the small side. The only watertap and waterbasin are in the bathroom. This is no problem when you are alone or share the room with one person. The bathroom gets crowded when more persons than 2 share the room. This hotel has no restaurant. When we stayed in San Fransisco the Wharf was (over)crowded. We had to wait for dinner for 45-60 minutes. For breakfast we had to wait for 20 minutes so we had a breakfast to go. Valetparking is expensive. Our room was situated above the hotelparking so we were not botherd by streetnoises.
Dear ronald d,
Thank you for sharing your experience on TripAdvisor. Our rooms and Bathrooms vary in sizes and regret that you had one of our smaller once. I apologies for the wait you experienced for Dinner and Breakfast and recommend next time to reach out to our concierge staff that can assist you with dinner reservation and make sure you don't have to wait. Our retail section has just recently open a great Restaurant that can be accessed from our Yard with specials for our Hotel Guest.
Again, Thank you for sharing your experience which I will share with my team to make sure we continue on improving.
We thank you for your trust and business.
Can't fault the service at the Zephyr - the staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was good - design v modern and different. But the biggest benefit of the hotel was the proximity to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39. We enjoyed our short break in San Francisco and had one of the best meals ever nearby - but it is such an expensive city - not sure we will be able to return for a while!
Thank you very much for sharing your experience and I'm glad to hear your feedback on our staff. We are working diligently on our Service staff with our new Team and have set some high expectations. Unique and fun is our goal and glad you find so much fun in walking distance from the Zephyr and enjoyed a great meal at one of our local restaurants.
We hope to welcome you at the Zephyr in the future.
We stayed four nights in the King balcony suite and absolutely loved it. The bed was comfy, huge tv and balcony made for bay viewing and people watching! Loved the whole vibe of the hotel! The only negative were the child sized bath towels. How about upgrading to some nice towels that wrap around a body. The hotel is close to everything or an uber ride away!
Dear Luke W
Appreciate you sharing your experience and glad you enjoyed people watching and the bay viewing from our great balconies overlooking the cool part of the Wharf. We will be looking in to your commend about the towels and working on getting this resolved and appreciate your feedback.
A "cool" thank you again and hope we have the pleasure to welcome you again.
Hotel Zephyr is a funky hotel near to Fisherman’s Wharf, so a stone’s throw from the bay and excursions to see the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz etc. It has an outside yard with fire pits and games, plus a games room. There’s no restaurant but that was not a problem as there are plenty of places to eat nearby or you can bring in your own food and eat (we did that most mornings). The yard has a caravan cafe also where you can get snacks, beers etc. A family friendly hotel with helpful staff (for local recommendations etc).
Can't fault the location, right by Fisherman's Wharf and we could see Alcatraz from our balcony. Hotel has a funky feel about it. Room was a bit tired, damp smelling but was ok to crash after busy day. Disappointing that a conference took over the games room for our first night. Also hotel would be much better if provided breakfast, simple serve your self continental would be helpful rather than always having to go out to get breakfast. Would probably stay again but wanted a little bit more for the price
