We visited the Pier 2620 Fisherman's Wharf hotel and really enjoyed our visit. The best part of the hotel is it's convenient location just a few blocks from Fisherman's Wharf. We loved being so close to the wharf and within walking distance of so many places.

Not being from San Francisco, we were a little shocked by the price of food and other things - so we did not eat at the hotel, but things were expensive everywhere.

The hotel has no pool but does have an atrium area and an evening bar service, as well as a restaurant that is open during peak hours.

The rooms and hallways were decorated with wallpaper meant to simulate worn concrete walls. While I did not like the decor, the rooms were very serviceable and comfortable.

Valet Parking is available but expensive, as is self parking. We bought a transit pass for the SF area and used BART to get from the airport to San Francisco. Uber or city transit is the way to go if you are flying into SFO - driving in San Francisco is expensive and mostly unnecessary with the city options available.

Room Tip: You want to get a room that does not face the road - prefer the Atrium facing rooms or you won't sleep well.

This hotel is within walking distance of Fishermans Wharf and the tram stops for the rest of the city. Rooms looked as if they had been refreshed recently and are done out in a boutique local wharf feel.

We had rooms with access to the lounge which provided a great breakfast. All staff were ready friendly and helpful.

I've stayed in SF a few times on vacation and this is the best hotel I've stayed at.

The hotel is excellently situated and we were able to move around with ease. The hotel parking is expensive but probably worth it. The wharf is close by (less than 500 meters) with great restaurants and the Alcatraz Tour Operators are also close by. The rooms are comfortable and newly renovated but the roads are noisy. However you don't spend a lot of time in the room so not really an issue. The wifi in the room only accommodates one device. Great for a short stay in San Francisco.
