This was top shelf but is now out of business. Natural setting with distant views of Lake Superior's Chequamegon Bay. Excellent wait staff and a wine steward, with a wine tower.

We have traveled to Bayfield to enjoy your restaurant along with the natural beauty of the area. Many thanks for several wonderful dinners with a great wine selection. It must be bitter sweet to close, but you gave many a special experience. Thanks for the memories.

Top scale, top notch, beautiful glass enclosed wine closet and wonderful selection. Varied menu changes and has always been excellent. Glass surround enclosure with pine trees growing in side of it. Looking thru the glass enclosure you see the kitchen which is spotless.

Wild Rice is closing for good on October 14, 2017. We've been here a couple times before, and had to return for one more meal before they close. Everything about this restaurant was as top-notch as any I've ever eaten in. It's expensive, but it will be missed for special occasions.

We drove over two hours to visit this gastronomic experience and it was well worth the drive. The staff are beyond exceptional; the food pairings worthy of any Michelin 5 star establishment; and the wine cellar extraordinaire!
