We came to Moab during an extremely busy weekend (the annual car show) and campsites were few and far between. We decided to get a hotel as a last resort and stumbled upon this gem. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They held a room for us as we drove up the highway and just in time because there was no vacancy as soon as we checked in. The room would probably be considered small to come people but it was perfect for my boyfriend and I. The room was super cute and there were dishes, coffee and other typical hotel amenities provided. I will definitely stay here again if I go back to downtown Moab and have already recommended this hotel to a friend.

We spent two nights in the Red Stone Inn in March 2016. We were going to stay just one night, but changed plans at the last minute and the management changed our reservation with no problems. The room was clean and pretty quiet. The small kitchenette was just fine for making a quick breakfast. The beds were comfortable. The room was a little small. Since they have flat screen TVs, the TV cabinet could be removed and that would make moving around the room easier. Also, with the wood paneling the room is a little darker than other hotel rooms. The inn also has a nice laundry room for guests. One thing we didn't know about was that the motel does has a outdoor grilling area for guests. We often go to the Four Corners area so we will use this motel again.

Room tip: For a quieter room ask for the building in the back.

The best thing about the Red Stone Inn is that it doesn't pretend to be something it's not. It is a conveniently located budget motel. Our room was rather small, knotty pine paneling & dated bedspread, but had everything we needed for our 2 night stay--queen size bed, kitchenette (with mini-fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, plates, mugs & silverware), small table with 2 chairs & TV. There was on site laundry & hot tub spa. Major grocery stores & restaurants were within walking distance. For a motel located close to the hub of downtown, it was surprisingly quiet. We didn't spend much time in our room--Arches National Park is about 10 minutes away.

After spending a number of days camping out in the Needles District of Canyonlands, checking into the Red Stone Inn was a nice surprise. It was the least expensive motel in Moab, and advertised as the Best Deal in Moab, but it was actually very nice. The rooms were small but very nicely attired in a western motif. But after camping for days, it was great to have a clean modern bathroom and shower. The Red Stone Inn is also walking distance from the Fiesta Mexicana which is a great restaurant to have a filling meal and a great Margarita.

Room tip: Request a room that is on the back side of the motel away from the parking area.
