This lodge is amazing! Smaller I'd say maybe 100 rooms. But our room as I'm sure all rooms, was large! Had a sitting area, a kitchenette (fully stocked!) , a patio, and yard. Large bathroom. And so beautiful, I'm usually not a fan of southwest decor but this was tastefully done. Staff was insanely helpful and so sweet!
Now the downside. Its at the bottom of a canyon, so cell reception is non exsistant. Which is nice had I known. Second its 13 miles down a very curvy scenic highway. While beautiful, for me and my family who have terrible motion sickness it was brutal first few times driving it. But after a while you become familiar and it is nice drive.
Its super close to Arches National Park, which is a MUST SEE! And Moab, which is so cute is close as well!
So aside from long drive down a canyon it is worth every moment! Because to sit on your patio and listen to Colorado river is worth it!

The views are spectacular from the rooms. The beds are super comfortable. We were here with a car rally and they treated us very well. Lunch and dinner at the lodge are wonderful but pass up the buffet breakfast, it is overpriced and not fresh. Staff is very friendly and will help you with tours of the area.

Room Tip: Rooms overlooking the Colorado are the best.

Just spent 3 nights at Red Cliffs Lodge. The views are awesome. The place is clean, quiet and each room is private as there is a partition between each patio area. Ours was on the creek not the Colorado river, but, had the patio with well manicured lawn, then a beautiful log fence and creek and pastures with horses grazing. Just above that view was one of the awesome red bluffs. The vineyards were along the driveway and lights came on at dusk along the fences.

Clean and well manicured rooms and grounds. Room was clean and well laid out with 3 steps down to kitchenette with frig, microwave, sink and dining area and a couch and then out to patio. The main lodge is rustic and beautiful with lots of Indian rugs and cowhides and the restaurant was great. We had 2 evening meals there at the Cowboy Grill and both were excellent for me. My husband said his steak was tough and he had breakfast which he said was not very hot and not as good as some free ones in some motels. His dinners were excellent except his steak was tough one night. Appetizers, drinks and bread and service were excellent. Winery was lovely and they let you taste 3 wines per person per day. The view on the deck for evening meals cannot be described. You are sitting just above the Colorado river with the spectacular views of red bluffs, mesas in EVERY direction.
Service was good in restaurant. The third night we just wanted a simple hamburger which they could not do for us. Too bad. The many positives far outweighed the couple of negatives and we would go back in a heartbeat. Great experience !!

Room Tip: We were in the double queen units on the creek and they were awesome and quiet. It was weekdays and...

The Red Cliffs Lodge is situated in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. The highlight of our stay was dinner at Cowboy Grill, the on site restaurant at the lodge. Magnificent views from every table. At sunset the mountains change colors and reflect on the Colorado River. Our server Chad was delightful. We ate there our first night and plan to eat there again tonight!

I have been taking groups to Red Cliffs Lodge for many years now and the consistant first-rate service has always greeted us! I can't say enough about the staff and their genuine interest in the comfort of the guests. They are first to meet you with their smiles and are there for any need. I have spent time in many different inns and lodges and Red Cliffs is at the top of my list for quality. The rooms are immaculate, the food outstanding, the setting breath-taking, and the ammenities detailed! Don't miss this experience! My guests always rave about their stay at RCL...

Fabulous site for a lodge- stunning scenery and lots of amenities available.
Moab is expensive anyway- this place is high but worth it. Large rooms, MW and refridge, kitchenette. Big guest laundry, huge pool and jacuzzi, very nice workout room.
Breakfast is not included- tried it once $10 per person- was good but not much more than at the Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express.
Great trail riding from their stable.

Room Tip: we had the creekside queen room- liked it a lot- large private patio. Then we were moved to a cabin...

I just booked my reservation. Judy and Gloria were so helpful, polite and knowledgeable! We're planning a horse trip and a day on the river . We are excited by our plans and by how wonderful our treatment already is.
