The Food Fan Foot Tour with Stu was a great way to end out weekend getaway to Asheville. There is so much good food in Asheville and no way you can taste all of it on one visit. Stu's tour covered 9 eateries that were very different from each other. The food and drinks in each of the locations was very good. Stu made it fun with some Asheville history and background on the changing food scene in town. Be prepared to be stuffed and happy.

My husband and I did the "Food Fan Foot Tour with Stu." We had a great time and enjoyed the food and drinks at the 8 stops we visited. Stu is very knowledgeable not only about food, but also about the history of Asheville. One of the best food tours we've experienced.

So happy we did Stu’s (aka Food Fan’s) tour! We had limited time in Asheville so wanted to experience as much of the food scene as possible... this was perfect. A little bit of history along the way... eclectic blend of restaurants and food... plus some amazing drinks... wouldn’t have changed a thing, worth every penny... absolutely highly recommended!

We had a great time, but feel that the the tour should be renamed the Asheville Food and Local History tour. We are foodies and we were expecting more food related information and less history. For example, we tried a delightful watermelon gazpacho. It would have been interesting to know how you go about creating balanced and exciting flavor combinations for this type of dish. We were told at one restaurant that the lobster bisque takes two days to make. Why does it take two days? The guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and probably would have answered or found out the answers to these questions if we had asked. These are just examples of the type of information we thought would be provided on the tour. If the history part was mentioned we would have had different expectations.
