We went on the Brunch Tour with Brandon and had a brilliant time! The food was varied and all delicious, with accompanying beer and cocktails for those indulging. We met at the bar at the Blackbird for the perfect sized breakfast and French press coffee. Brandon knew a lot about food culture in Asheville and he interspersed the restaurant visits with stories of Asheville history. Highlights for us included the chorizo stuffed hash browns at Bhramari Brewhouse and the shrimp and grits at Strado, but even as I write that I feel bad for leaving out the delicious curry at Blue Dream and the to-die-for chocolates from Chocolate Fetish. We went back in the afternoon for more donuts from the Underground Cafe. With so many participating restaurants, the guide is able to change things up for each tour. Highly recommend!
