“Most comfortable stay in Asheville”
Reviewed 22 May 2012

3 delightful nights and days in Asheville in a very nice inn. Great location. Thanks to Lynn and Ron for knowing how to treat their guests. It was also a pleasure to spend a little time with other guests each evening with a glass or two of wine. Thanks again.

This place was immaculate and offered more than we could really take advantage of. Stayed two nights for our 10th anniversary, and would def. keep it on the radar for a repeat visit. The innkeepers were very accomodating, and helped us make special arrangements for our in room massage when we booked our time slot poorly. Then, they helped us arrange to eat breakfast in the main dining room to accomodate our schedule. The inn happened to be very close to Nine Mile, where we would recommend taking in a good meal, and the neighborhood allowed for a very pleasant walk prior to leaving on Sunday. Great movie selection, great coffee, Asheville has such beautiful summer temperatures! Jealous.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Rossetti Room. I might aim for a smaller room in the main inn, for a little less...

We stayed one Saturday night at the 1900 Inn and were truly impressed. The warm welcome, clean room, live blue-grass music on the porch, complementary wine, and superb three-course breakfast were all offered with friendliness and a touch of class. Thank you for a great experience.

We have been to a several B & B's in Asheville. This was by far the best. Ron and Lynn were wonderful hosts to both us and our friends who were also staying there. We had another couple drive in for the day. They welcomed them just like they were a guest and told them to hang around for social hour.

We had so much fun hanging on the verenda sipping wine and talking.

We will definitely return again.

We stayed at this Inn (bed and breakfast) for two nights (Wednesday and Thursday). The hosts, Lynn and Ron were delightful and we had a great time visiting with the other guests during the evening social gatherings. Our guestroom was the Thomas Wolfe and very nicely furnished with the greatest beds and linens. I enjoyed my mornings on the very large front porch drinking my coffee and surveying the beautiful yard and gardens in anticipation of breakfast, which was always varied and delicious and a great start to our busy day. Ron and Lynn had a very warm, friendly, and helpful staff. Their dining suggestions and recommendations regarding things to do made our stay in Asheville a great experience. We hope to be able to visit again soon. Thanks guys!!!

Room Tip: I liked all the rooms. Next time I would like to try something in the Griffin's Cottage (carriag...

We stayed for 4 days while visiting Billy Graham's "The Cove" education center in Asheville. We stayed in the Cloisters suite and it was the most outstanding suite we've ever had the privilege to spend time in. A totally separate jacuzzi room with waterfall and fireplace - and exceptional spa shower and steam-room complete with multiple shower heads -- amazing living room and kitchen with another fireplace, custom made gorgeous Italian cabinets -- and very comfortable bed with amazingly soft sheets. The outside private garden was beautiful and Ron and Lynn served us breakfast there in the morning. What an exceptional experience - it exceeded our expectations!

Room Tip: The Cloisters suite is worth the cost for sure! You'll never find another suite like it!

We stayed on a Tuesday and Wednesday evening. The staff, including our hosts gave us a warm greeting and made sure that we felt right at home. In fact, we were able to wind-down comfortably on the veranda or in front of the three fireplaces with other guest at the end of the day. They are very knowledgeable about Asheville and helped us organize how to make the most of visiting Biltmore. Lunch and dining recommendations were spot-on.

The social hour (Biltmore wines), coffee/tea/sweets bar and multi-course breakfast were crowning touches. You can tell that Ron & Lynn are passionate about going beyond comfort by providing elegance throughout the inn.

My sister honeymooned there during our stay and the entire staff made sure that their stay was given additional personal touches of charm.

Room Tip: My sister honeymooned in the Edith Wharton Room (jacuzzi tub). We stayed in the O. Henry Room. Both...
