I booked the Duck tour more for my 9 year old son, than for the adukts, but we all had a ball. The tour provides a great history narrative of this beautiful city, and our driver was informative and entertaining. When the duck was on the water the kids were allowed to drive the duck for a while which was great fun. Well worth the money and highly recommended.

We had a free ticket from our hotel. This was the only reason why we went on the tour. They pointed out some highlights and places where movies were shot but on average pretty average.

We didn't have a lot of time in Boston and this was a great way of seeing a lot of things at once; we'd totally recommend it if you're in a similar situation with time constraints. Our guide was really entertaining and knowledgeable and he was a real local, so provided some really good hints and tips about things that wouldn't necessarily be mentioned in guidebooks, which we followed up later.

Disappointing. Very tourist-y and went way too fast... literally, we were done like a half hour early... but unable to take pictures out the window as the tour was going on because we blew through everything at a blistering pace. The guide even talked super fast... you really had to pay attention and still couldn't catch everything he said. It's good to take this kind of tour to start so you can get the lay of the land and figure out where you want to spend time at, but an hop on / off trolley tour would be a much better option, not to mention the duck tour is not cheap! I would not recommend this or do it again.

I'm sorry that our tour did not live up to your expectations. It would be helpful to know who your Driver was and what tour you took. Our tours average 80 minutes and we can easily check our records and GPS (which is on each Duck) to see if it was short, and if so, why. I'd like to help resolve your issues and can be reached directly at CBrown@BostonDuckTours.com. Thank you in advance for letting us help resolve this.

I was kind of dreading this duck tour, so I was very surprised how enjoyable it was for us parents and our kids (age 4 & 2). It was a fun, informative tour of Boston in a unique vehicle. The guide was very humorous. All of the guides have a different "personality" that they bring to the tour with costumes, point of view, etc. Going into the Charles River was quite exciting for everyone on the boat, and any kids who wanted to were allowed to drive the boat. This is a must-do if you have kids and want to do a tour of Boston.
