We had trouble getting sleep the night before an important event. Had to call the front desk several times to take care of it.

It was our first time staying at this Hyatt and we will definitely be back. We were here for the Boston Marathon and my wife’s birthday. The rooms were large and very quiet. Coffee makers and safes were in the rooms. The bathroom shower pressure was great and the beds were very comfortable. There was a large screen TV and ample storage areas. The parking garage was expensive but it is Boston. The hotel is located in the theater district which makes it very convenient to see a show and stay here. The hotel was decorated for the Marathon and they provided free snacks, water and coffee on the day of the race. We are in their restaurant and found the food to be excellent there too. Overall this was an excellent stay and we will be back

Room tip: Request a higher floor they are very quiet

We had such a wonderful family trip to Boston this past week during our daughter's spring break, and we owe a lot of this to our very comfortable stay at the Hyatt Regency Boston. From the upgraded suite (disclosure: I am a Globalist with Hyatt), to the amazing service at the in-house restaurant, Avenue, to the fantastic location right in the heart of downtown Boston, our 7-night stay couldn't have been any better. The valet service was also top notch and super easy to use every day to retrieve our rental car.

We would like to especially thank both William and Ardjan, two incredible long-time servers at Avenue, for making our breakfast's the highlight of every morning. On the first day I told William how much I loved the chocolate croissants at Avenue and the next day, he had "saved" me two of these croissants because they weren't on the menu that day - he even warmed them up for me before bringing them to my table. And Ardjan brought me a hot latte every morning when he would see me arrive at my table, because he already knew that's what I would be ordering!

We will definitely be staying here when we return to Boston again soon. In terms of the value + service + location, this hotel has moved up to the top 5 of my global Hyatt list.

Here for a relaxing time in Boston, a trip we’ll be making regularly at least two or three times a year now. (we have some family in nearby Ipswich) Beautiful Junior Suite room, great service at the front desk, by text and at Avenue One.

The team here, at any time, is just exceptional.

My only request, please reopen the pool and sauna. In the mixed weather, both would have been an asset during our three day stay.

Meanwhile, thank you Hyatt for making Boston so cozy & welcoming - it was between you and the Godfrey, and we’re so thankful we chose Hyatt.

Room tip: Request extra blankets & pillows at check in, you will need them. Trust me. To say the beds are firm is an understatement.

Beautifully clean hotel. Spacious rooms and friendly staff. Great atmosphere and nothing was too much trouble. Norman the barman was so attentive and as helpful as the concierge for ideas of places to visit. As it was Halloween, the staff held a pumpkin 🎃 competition, with the winner decided by the visitors. Great fun.

Starting with the plus sides: clean comfy beds and friendly staff. Well located in Boston. Downsides: soulless, drab, unimaginative decor, grey, grey grey. The carpet in the room made me want to cry. Also it is DARK. No hooks in the sink area meaning I had to dump my clothes on the sink. Also no nice public areas to hang out in. I’ve recently stayed in a Hyatt Regency Hong Kong (elegant) and Amsterdam (trendy). This hotel should not be in the same category. So Hyatt, either upgrade the hotel or downgrade its category. This is like an airport hotel in the city centre and as such, a disappointment.
