This was the 3rd Hyatt Centric we have stayed at, as we loved the previous 2 we had been to (one in California and one in NYC). We stayed for 2 nights, and chose this location as it's close to explore so many landmarks in Boston, and about a 15 minute walk to TD Garden (about a 5 minute uber).
As other reviews have stated, the room was pretty small. We had a regular king room, and the bed was super comfortable. Air conditioning felt really powerful as well. The refrigerator was nice to have as well in such a small space.
Hyatt Centrics in general though do offer an efficient closet system that you can fit luggage into when the room is tight.
Our room faced the front of the hotel and found the room to be very quiet, and found we had a good night sleep both nights.
The bathroom is a little odd. The shower is right out in the open when you first walk into the room, and there is a small room the toilet is in for privacy. The counter space is limited, but there is a little shelf alcove next to the sink which is nice.
The 2 biggest draw backs on this hotel and why I did not give it a 5; the size of the room, just felt a little cramped at times, but not the smallest hotel I've ever stayed in, definitely have stayed in smaller hotels in NYC. The other downside was the toilet. It did not flush easily. We would have to hold it and attempt multiple times every single time we used it. It just seemed to not work well. It could have just been our room, but based on some other reviews, it may be an issue at this hotel in other rooms as well.
Over all, we found this to be a nice hotel. The elevators we didn't have an issue with at all, which we also saw some negative reviews about. They just are tiny, but we never waited long for one.
Also the restaurant attached to the lobby was nice to have and we had a nice late night dinner.
Definitely recommend this hotel for it's location, comfy beds and it did feel modern like the other 2 Hyatt Centrics we stayed at previously.
