We were pointed in the direction of this restaurant as a place where the locals eat. I'd have to agree with that as most of the patrons were local construction guys and people who were obviously from the area. They don't accept credit/debit cards and it's definitely a no frills place to eat breakfast or lunch. The food was very good and there was more than enough provided. The guys behind the counter were no nonsense and were a cross between the soup nazi and the cheeburger cheeburger people from the old Saturday Night Live skit. I'd recommend this as a quick no frills place to eat if that's what you're looking for.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast. The place was packed. The menu had typical fare of eggs, pancakes, etc. The service was very quick and pleasant. Looks like a great place for lunch too.

Good, fast, filling food for a very reasonable price. Ordered a number two with sausage and coffee. It is a counter order joint. All the tables were filled with local tradesman on coffee break, each with a plate if food which speaks well to its following. I would definitely eat breakfast here again.

For 10 bucks, you can eat lunch like you were in Aunt Nora's own kitchen! Try the BBQ chicken, the meatloaf, and the baed haddock and you won't be disappointed. The cheeseburger clubs really hit the spot - made just like they should be - on toast with mayo. This place is special, and while the local owners can seem a bit like the soup Nazi, deep down they really don't mind going out of their way to please. Ask for a bottle of ketchup, they provide. Ask for a cup of ice, you got. You can't go wrong with this comfort food. Enjoy!
